Edit a Subforum

The subforums that you divide your Obsidian Portal campaign forum into are not necessarily going to remain static over the course of time. Names, descriptions and locations within the overall forum hierarchy can all be subject to change.

To edit a subforum:

1. Navigate to the dashboard of the campaign you wish to edit a subforum on.
2. Click the "Forum" tab.
3. Click the "Manage Forums" link.
4. Click the edit icon associated with the subforum you wish to edit.
5. Make the desired change(s) on the "Edit Subforum" form.
6. Click the "Save" button.

After saving, you will be redirected to the "Manage Forums" listing. A brief notification will indicate that "Your forum has been updated." Topics and their associated posts remain unaffected by changes to the subforum that houses them - as long as the subforum is not deleted (see Delete a Subforum).
