Changing Map Visibility

Similar to the privacy setting of your overall campaign page (see Setting Campaign Privacy), your campaign maps on Obsidian Portal also have a setting that determines their visibility to the general public. With just a toggle of a checkbox, you can decide if you want to show a particular map to everyone who views your site, or if you'd rather keep it for yourself and your players only. Whether you have one map per campaign, or the maximum, when it comes to visibility, you decide.
To change map visibility:
  1. Navigate to the dashboard of the campaign you wish to update a map's visibility on.
  2. Click the "Maps" tab.
  3. Click the edit icon for the map to have its visibility updated.
  4. Toggle the "Public?" checkbox to the desired visibility state.
  5. Click the "Save" button.
Once you have saved, you will receive a notification indicating that "Your map has been updated."
Note: Alternatively, you may click on a map to view it and then click the edit icon.
